Dear Students & Families,
Right about now, I would normally be stressing about costumes, photo day, the year-end show…but instead I am stressing about not seeing the students.
I miss everyone, I miss the good days and the not so good days, and the in between days!
The studio has always been a magical place for me, from the moment I stepped into my very first ballet class. It is a place where I have always found myself, and I think for many of my students it is the same. It is a second home, a safe place, a place where even though we are not related by blood, we are a family. It is a place where there is laughter and tears. I miss my studio, and I know many of the students do as well.
I look forward to the day, when things are normal again, or as close to it as possible. To this end, though we are allowed to re-open with protocol in place, we are going to do so in a very cautious and small way.
The only classes that will be available in studio will be Intermediate Foundation and above. Though there has been interest from a few in the younger classes, I am going to err on the side of caution and keep those classes online.
Please check our updated schedules, linked below, for class times over the next two weeks, we have made changes to our online schedule to accommodate those students returning to school.
Keep well, stay safe and in the words of Dr. Henry, be kind!
Sincerely, Mrs. Geddert
