Mi-Cher Dance Academy students take pride in their dance practice. Having your dancer in the proper uniform for class will give enable them to concentrate on their dance practice and set them up for success.
ALL STUDENTS:
- Clean hands and faces are an absolute must!
- All ballet attire must also be clean and mended if holes or runs appear.
- Ballet slippers must have elastics; ribbons may be needed for exam purposes only, and will be sold to those that need them prior to their exam date. Please purchase your child’s ballet slippers from a ballet supply shop; either Limbers or The Dance Box are the best places to purchase your daughter’s supplies. PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE BALLET SLIPPERS TOO LARGE.
- Hair must be done in an appropriate style. Students with shorter hair must hair pulled back off their face. ALL other students must have buns. Click here for a great YouTube video on making a ballet bun.
- It is preferred that the students do not wear bright/dark nail polish to class. Pale colours are forgiven, but not encouraged!
- Students who are not dressed properly may be asked to sit out the class.
